Scholarships

 

Since 1995, the Ketchikan Pioneers of Alaska has offered annual scholarships to students wishing to continue their studies after high school.  Over the years, the 2 Igloos have contributed tens of thousands of dollars to students.

 

This year, Ketchikan Pioneers of Alaska is offering scholarships to graduating or recently graduated students from Ketchikan schools or who have completed a GED.    The amount of funds available in 2025 is $5,000.00.  Successful applications are based on an essay describing your interests and goals, financial need, community service, letters of recommendation, and grades.  Applicants who are related to a member of the Pioneers of Alaska may be given a preference.
